Projects

PICS Adoption Project: To build partnerships and collaboration among universities, community organizations, government agencies, healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and networks in support of the project’s goals and objectives. Ideally, we would like these educational institutions to adopt our research to study the effects of incarceration.

PICS Ambassador Program: The PICS Ambassador Program offers your organization the opportunity to embrace the PICS PROJECT and advocate within local educational institutions, reentry programs, correctional departments, etc., to raise awareness about PICS. Organize in-person events to advance the cause in your state.

POW PROTECT OUR WOMEN: “POW Protect Our Women” presents a transformative 6-week program tailored for women and girls affected by incarceration. Whether you’ve experienced incarceration firsthand or are supporting a loved one through it, this essential program comprises six comprehensive modules designed to provide crucial support.

Gifts Beyond The Gates: “Gifts Beyond the Gates” is our annual Christmas extravaganza dedicated to children with incarcerated parents. This special event aims to strengthen family bonds and offer incarcerated individuals a Christmas experience by facilitating video visits with their loved ones during the festivities. Over the past four years, we’ve proudly sponsored over 350 participants, ensuring the joy of the season reaches those in need.
